Attended a Lions Club luau in the Palmyra Mormon Church this evening.

We at BBQ and pickled peas and fried oreos, we did not drink the flavored water, and liked the fried oreos whose batter had swiss miss in it less.

Then there was the White elephant Auction!

Judgment made based on size shape and little sound that can come from shaking it .

Or is there more!

There was one package, mmhmm. It was wrapped very nicely with the most delicate of blue and silver paper and one very particular iridescent bow. The bow was what put it in my view – Off set, not centered.

I wanted it, how could I want a box of re-gifted goods, but alas, I did, and vowed that I would have to write a song about it if it became mine. Bids went up and up, and as the auctioneer said $10 so – I – I said 10 dollars (which was what they were presently promoting!) then 11 and then it was mine.

At first I sat on the box, but moments later I tore off the outside wrapping and into the box. And as the box opened a huge black spider rose from inside! It sports about 2 feet of height depending of your personal treatment of it. It has sunglasses and friend bug ~ People cheered, it is really swell.
